OUR MISSION: The Mecosta County Area Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber, or MCACC) is a voluntary network dedicated to promoting quality of life through the economic, educational, and cultural development of Mecosta County.
OUR VISION: In all we do, The Chamber will strive to add value for our members. These efforts will be aligned with our mission, will provide programs and services that help members be more successful, and improve the broader Mecosta County community. Decisions will be made in good faith, in the interest of the majority of members, and backed by local economic and workforce data, and community demographics.
OUR CORE VALUES: The core values of The Chamber will be part of the foundation upon which the board of directors and staff function in delivering value to its members. These include:
Demonstrating integrity in all of our relationships.
Providing value for our membership.
Leading the charge for the long-term interest of our community.
Promoting recruitment, retention, and creation of new business.
OUR 2022-2024 STRATEGIC INITIATIVES: As we continue to move through the unprecedented challenges by the Covid-19 pandemic, committed by community and business leaders have created this short-term strategic plan to guide operations as the Mecosta County Area Chamber of Commerce as it re-emerges to meet the needs of unifying and promoting a strong infrastructure for businesses, education, and community. These initiatives include creating a sustainable framework to meet the needs of members, providing current and relevant resources, supporting the interests of our community partners, and creating innovative ways for members to benefit from shared expertise.
“I am a huge believer in giving back and helping out in the community and the world. Think globally, act locally I suppose. I believe that the measure of a person's life is the effect they have on others.” – Steve Nash
